Bulk cooking is when you make several different recipes with a common ingredient. If you are inclined to shop for sales, this method is good. You can pick one or two items and then cook up meals based on this main ingredient.
For example, ground beef may be on sale at your local grocery store and you buy a large quantity and cook up meals such as meatballs, meatloaf, taco beef, etc…
Bulk Cooking Tip: Be sure to mix up the flavouring of the common ingredient, otherwise you will end up with meals that all taste the same, which may not be appetizing.

- can schedule a block of time of at least 3-4 hours of uninterrupted time to dedicate to a cooking session
- watch for grocery store sales and typically only buy large quantities of food when on sale
- have a small freezer
